Worst 7 Things You Can Do With Your Posters
Let me give you a hand in online poster printing. Before you send up your customized poster templates for online poster printing, you might want to first review this list of seven of the worst things worst people do with their posters. These are common mistakes that novices and experts alike, might sometimes commit if they are not careful. So try to take note of these things and avoid them at all costs.
1. Use Internet based images. A lot of people think that the images on the Internet are already free reign for use in different color posters. While it is true that there lots of free image archives that you can exploit for many kinds of design, for poster printing, you might actually only have a limited use for those. Internet based images are usually rendered in low resolution for fast loading unto a web page. This means that when you print these kinds of images, they might actually look fuzzy in real life color posters. So it is a gross mistake to simply take any image from the Internet. It is best to acquire high resolution samples that will work well with poster printing.
2. Get too creative with the fonts. Sometimes, designers can also get a little bit too creative with their fonts. With thousands of free fonts available on the internet, it is hard not to resist getting every single one and trying them out and getting creative with them. However, the truth is, you must always be sure that your color posters have content that can easily be understood. Many people get too creative and just communicate the wrong, hard to read text to people.

Note that this is not about the choice of poster images. This is about the choice of poster theme colors, texts and background. If these different elements all have different colors that are loud and vibrant, some readers might actually get too overwhelmed and not really pay attention to it. It is best to only use a one or two color scheme for your posters. This helps maintain the identity of your design, giving it a more professional appeal.
6. Forgetting the printing bleed. Many designers also make the mistake of forgetting to add the printing bleed. The printing bleed in poster design is a leeway of design space for printing the posters. Depending on your design, this can be part of an extend margin that has extended design elements in them. This helps cover up any discrepancies in the color poster prints, where sometimes the cutting tool or printing tool might be misaligned a bit. With printing bleeds, that problem is easily solved since there is already a leeway of design space that appears. So never forget to have a printing bleed in your color poster designs.
7. Not researching the target market. Finally, the biggest mistake that you can do in designing color posters is not researching your target market for your design. Knowing your audience will really help you design color posters that really appeal and interest them. So never forget your market research, and always try to focus on the things that they, your readers, will like the best in your poster designs. Great market research for poster printing, will always give you greater results.
