Sense about 4000 BC glue and adhesives have been a major part of the human culture and daily life. Glue can be found in virtually any item you can think of. Just take a look around your home, you will be surprised how few items you can find that don't use some sort of adhesive. Glue is in everything from books, computers, furniture, toilet paper, and even the structure of your home. Simply put, glue holds the world together. Its amazing all the different kinds of adhesives that have been invented for all kinds of different needs.
At one point in the past glue was made of all kinds of weird things such as fish, bones, and weirdly enough, blood. Now in the present day glue is being developed out of chemicals and non harmful natural substances. The adhesive industry has rapidly expanded in the past century and now there is a specialized glue for almost any kind of job and product. Developers of glue and adhesive products have continued to develop new innovations that at one point in time were unheard of.
One of the most creative and popular ideas of the industry has been the glue stick. This simple yet genius product can be found in almost any home and majority of people in developed countries have used a glue stick at some point in there life. First developed in 1969 by the German company Henkel, The Glue stick has become one of the most convenient and useful products developed. The clever device was actually inspired by the ease of pop-up lipsticks. The Glue stick is a universal symbol and one of the most well known brands of this product is "Prit", which is the name given to the product by the company Hekel.
Its important to realize the importance of adhesives. Next time you take a look around the modern world try to think what things would be like if glue was never invented. Life would definitely be much more complicated and difficult. The fact of the matter is that we could not live the lives that we are use to, without some sort of adhesive.

How do I replace the antenna on a 2003 Dodge Dakota V6 3.9L SB?
I just recently purchased a short bed 2003 Dodge Dakota V6 3.9L and it was a little beat up cosmetically. Among other things, the antenna is missing. The base of it is still on the hood of the truck and I have bought a universal antenna to replace it with. I should have probably just went to the junk yard but has anyone had this problem? There is a round metal thing that holds it in place with 3 notches in it. I tried with pliers and I couldn't get it off to screw in my new antenna. I hope it isn't glued on. If anyone has had this problem your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
You don't remove that piece, the antenna screws into it.
