How to mix hair toner with a developer?
I've recently gone blonde and I purchased a toner for when it started to turn red. The products the hairdresser sold me were 'Hi Lift' Creme Peroxide for Hair: 1.5% Activator and Schwarzkopf Igora Royal 9.5-1. The peroxide has no directions on it but the Igora directions for mixing were "Use 3%/10 Vol. Color & Care Developer with 1:1 mixing ratio". I understand that I should mix the two half and half but my developer is only 1.5% not 3%. How should I mix it?
I am not familiar with the exact products however the unusual mixing ration is equal parts. Other wise like two to one says so on the bottle.....
