Lp wise...... Hmmm...... I DO love Anthony Braxton's Saxophone Improvisations Series F, Peter Brotzmann's Machine Gun, The 2 LP Circle set on the ECM label, the Alan Silva triple LP set on BYG and Detlef Schonenberg's Spielt Schlagzeug is a true thing of beauty....... I know you are probably looking for non free jazz stuff but these are some of my absolute all time fave's off the top of my head. If I were picking a Miles album it;d be Jack Johnson, Agharta or On The Corner and somehow I KNOW you ain't lookin' for anything from those Miles eras!
