The display in the Ritz Carlton location was 4 pieces of film applied to the window and seamed up to each other to form one screen about the size of a 42["e;] flat screen TV; roll widths a couple years ago were limited to 40["e;] then 48["e;] and now 60["e;] rolls are a standard which will yield a 122["e;] widescreen.

How do you hook standard cable to a projection screen?

I don’t have a digital cable box to go with my projection screen and I’m looking for a way to connect the cable coming from my wall to the projector. I know I can use a old VCR to do this but I was looking for another way.
I have the exact same setup in my room, and on top of that, I am a little Tech fan.I use an EPSON projector and that plays everything I have.
Video, DVD, PS3, blue ray, TV (cable) and we just added Comcast tripple play.
Fact is, A projector can only project what it is given to project.
In other words, you need something to tell it wich channel you want to see. In my case, I use a cheap DVD player that receives the cable,
and all the other gadgets go trough that DVD player.
From the dvd player I use the 'S-Video' output (you can also use the coaxial output) Wichever you choose, plug that in to your projector, and your setup should work.
And to flick trough tv channels, you'll have to use the remote from that DVD player...
That is all there is to it I think.
In short actually, there is no other way than using you old VCR.
They do sell projectors that can receive cable, but theyre expencive.
