Most users mention that only one base layer is needed to achieve the perfect warmth. The stretchy, synthetic PrimaLoft Insulation regulates your body temperature and compacts really well. This is a nice advantage over down jackets since you are cutting down on the overall bulk of your jacket.
The fully taped seams and Riri Zippers are bomber for keeping out the wetness. Conventional coil zippers require a PU coating strip on the outside to cover the zipper while the Riri zippers actually have plastic meshed teeth that do away with the need for a PU coating. The meshed teeth interlock on a diagonal and act as a water barrier.
This jacket is built to be exposed to the elements. Fear no blizzard or wet spring conditions with this jacket. With fully taped seams, Rare zippers and a waist gaiter, you really need to yard sale so bad that you lose your clothes to get wet in this one! Things To Note
Burton made this jacket a bit longer at the request of their customers and also made it a bit baggier which is true to their Sig Fit. Some users have bought one size smaller to make up for the bagginess. What size to order will depend on you much you like to layer, your chest size and whether you prefer the lose, baggy feel or a sleeker, tapered look.
