How to Make your Custom Notepads More Useful
Custom notepads are always made with a purpose. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that people have been successful at making notepads useful for those purposes. There is a trick to making notepads as useful as you can make them. It is about choosing the right materials and designing them in an appropriate way. Below are a few tips on how to do this for your own notepads.
Functional sizes: One important thing that you can do to make your color notepads more useful is to adjust its size according to its function. If you just need a notepad where you can write down quick notes while on the field, then smaller dimensions should be enough. If however you want the notepads to be used on the corporate scene as a medium for memos, and other important office notes, then a bigger notepad might be more appropriate instead. It all depends on how mobile you want the notepads, or how much space you want in the notepad to write on. So choose a good balance between that and see the appropriate dimension that can accommodate that choice.
Designing for durability: Another way to keep your notepads useful for your purposes is to design them for durability. You can do this by choosing thicker and stronger paper stocks for your notepads. You may also want to include hard cardboard covers for the notepad so that it has protection at the back and in the front. By doing this, the chances of early deterioration for the notepads are minimized and people can use your notepads for longer amounts of times and in different environments. This is perfect for most notepad purposes.
Designing for specific habits: Also, you may want to place design elements into your notepad for a certain kind of purpose. For example, if your notepad pages will usually be torn away, then you might want the printer to design in, or add in perforation marks on the pad so that it is easier to tear away pages. you cant double space on the fly with wordpad or notepad but you can change the spacing afterwards. type your stuff then hit ctrl-A then ctrl-2 and it will apply double spacing. this works for wordpad
