How do I unjam a Samsung ML-2010 Mono Laser printer?
The paper got caught. I opened it and removed the cartridge. I got out all the paper I could see. When I try to print now the green light goes on and the rollers move but the paper is stuck.
What further options do I have?
The printer is 2 years and 5 months old. How long do they normally last?
Laser printers can last 5 to 10 years. I have some MUCH older then that.
Sounds like you did not get all the stuck paper out. You might have bits of paper stuck to the rollers or jammed into an out of the way place. I use a flashlight and a pair of hemostats to pull anything I can out.
BTW: Static electricity and dry paper makes for stuck paper in printers. When paper sits out (not in wrapper) it drys out and is more likely to get stuck. Is your house "dry"?
