Fly mask for horse with UV?
I've recently moved one of my horses to a retirement barn, he has UV which has rendered him partially blind (prior owners ignored his condition) and while it's now under control he requires a face mask that blocks UV rays. I sent him down there with a Guardian mask and a Cashel Crusader, the Cashel mask he promptly lost in the pasture. He's had the Guardian on for 4 days and it's rubbing a sore spot on his nose (he's got a bald spot on his nose from being in a too-small nylon halter for God-knows-how-long also).
So, any suggesting for a mask for the old fellow? I'd like to find something that offers high UV protection at a reasonable price since I'd like to take a few extras down there. I'm considering the Cashel again, it fit well and he seemed to wear it comfortably. He's not digging the Guardian too much. I'm also looking at the Kensington masks and the Farnam SuperMask II.
Any reccomendations?

The Cashel website says that their standard mask w/o ears will protect against 70% of UV rays--IDK if that's high enough for your guy but it does offer decent protection.
I have one for my horse and it works great. I like the individual ear holes a LOT. They're much better than just one big hole that goes over the top that both ears go through.
