Brilliant Lead Generation Strategy! – How My Junk Mail Produces Leads

Brilliant Lead Generation Strategy- Courtesy of Junk Mail

Sure, you could say I'm a bit obsessed with learning the tricks of the trade, and for good reason.  The more I read and study from successful giants like, Cedrick Harris, Larry Beacham ("The Stone Cold Millionaire"), Mike Dillard, Ray Higdon and others.  The faster my lead generation strategy kicks in.

If I hadn't spent a few bucks on Larry's ebook - I would have missed this Huge Nugget on a Brilliant Lead Generation Strategy Courtesy of Larry Beacham & Cedrick Harris...

Upon implementing a few strategies here and there from these Master Network Marketers, I am starting to generate more leads on a daily basis, and you can too!

I bought Larry Beacham's LinkedIN Guide, which is packed with useful tips and training about generating leads using LinkedIn…

This lead generation strategy was well worth the money. This one tip alone can pay off down the road ten fold, and it's free to implement.

Larry got this tip from Cedrick Harris at a convention he attended a while back and I want to share their wisdom with you all.

Okay, SO, what does Junk Mail have to do with a lead generation strategy?  I must say, I would have never thought of this tactic in a million years.

We all get bombarded with Junk Mail in our snail mailboxes, just like we do on our computers In-Box.  Although, there is one big difference between the 2 types of Junk Mail… Snail Mail has the advantage, especially with offers from credit card and insurance companies.  Instead of throwing out all these "special offer" pieces of junk, Larry explains that Cedrick actually collects them.  WHY you ask?  For 1 reason, the return envelope.

I'm sure you've noticed in the upper right hand corner of these return envelopes there is a, "NO Postage Necessary when mailed in the U.S." stamp.  You see, the intent is for us to mail back an application, but hang on a sec…

You and I both know that those returned application notices don't end up on the desk of the CEO at Bank One or American Express.  They end up in the mail room where someone being paid $8 or $9 bucks an hour opens them.

Yep, you guessed it!  (or maybe you didn't) Cedrick puts a piece of marketing literature in those envelopes and mails it back to them!  He said in one calendar year he has enrolled 15 people using this technique and has seen duplication from his downline using this very same method.

What a great way to "stick it back to" the junk mailers if you ask me.  This simple and No Cost Innovative idea was worth more than the cost of Larry's ebook in my opinion.  What a great lead generation strategy.

In today's fast paced world of following standard marketing ideas that everyone and their brother are doing, it really pays to "think different" and to be creative with your marketing.
What creative things can you come up with that are sitting right under your nose?
Thanks Larry for such an awesome ebook on creating a lead generation strategy that we can all put to good use.

Drop me a comment and share your thoughts and ideas.  I know I plan on using this strategy and I'm heading to the mailbox right now :)

How do I stop junk mail which is coming from abroad?

I am aware of mailing preference service and postal preference service but these only deal with mail within the UK. Most of the junk mail I received comes from Europe (Holland mainly). Any advice much appreciated.

You should get in touch with the mailing company if you can and ask them to stop sending you junk mail. Although Holland is not affected by Data Protection nor by the MPS, if they have any contacts with the UK, they should take notice as their business could be affected. In addition, they must have got your name from somewhere and if you can find out who gave it to them without your permission, you can get in touch with the Data Protection Commissioner and report them. Also see http://www.ico.gov.uk/for_the_public/topic_specific_guides/junk_mail.aspx for any more info.
