Will the Internet Censorship Controversy Ever End?!
If you asked me what is the most controversial and paradoxical internet-related topic, I would say it is internet censorship . While some voices regard it as a freedom suppressor, others believe that taking drastic "e-censorship" measures is essential for privacy protection.
The Fine Line Between Yes and No…
It is very hard to reach a decisive resolution on this issue with extreme cultural differences stirring more heat into the fire. It is no wonder that when Sergey Brin, a co-founder of Google, plead the U.S. government to break China's huge firewall, he didn't meet any success. Abuse is the very high price of uncontrolled freedom and that's why; parents are censoring what their kids can and can't see online with internet filters.
What's the Deal with Content Blocking?
Does the term Digg Effect ring a bell? Well, a user submits his site to Digg to be voted upon by other users. The higher votes it gets, the more likely its content will appear on Digg's heavily read news page. Some people get so many voters to vote their sites to the top while others completely block others sites contents from appearing on Digg. This is just one example of the online content blocking pandemic!!
The e- invisible Ink!
Collage, a tool created by Georgia Tech, is used to hide some content within social media sites such as Twitter, Flickr and YouTube. In other words, you can download some images your friends previously uploaded in any of these sites and decode some hidden content the purposely included there. It's like the invisible ink used by secret agents! Call it the e-nigma of the internet!
On final thought, as long as the word "freedom" has different meanings to different people, the issue of internet censorship will remain hazy and controversial.

How does invisible ink work?
Don't post anything unless it is about invisible ink!! Please and thank you
It's easy to send secret messages to your friends when you write them in top secret invisible ink. The "secret" is in the combination of lemon juice and heat from a light bulb or an iron. The heat causes a chemical change in the lemon juice and makes it appear darker on paper.
It can be a little tricky to write with the "ink" -- it's invisible, after all -- but once you get the hang of it, it's a fun way to share secrets with your friends. Here's how to get started:
What You'll Need:
1. Toothpick
2. Lemon juice
3. Paper
4. Heat source, such as a light bulb or iron
1. Dip the round side of a toothpick into lemon juice, and write a secret message with it on a piece of paper. Use lots of lemon juice for each letter you write.
2. Allow the paper to dry until you can't see the writing any more.
3. Now move the paper back and forth over a heat source. As the ink gets warm, your message is revealed.
What Happened? The acid in the lemon juice breaks down the cellulose of the paper into sugars. The heat supplied tends to caramelize the sugars, making them brown and revealing the secret writing. Repeat this activity with vinegar or milk to find out which makes the best invisible ink.
