Hold the power button until it turns off, then turn it on. If it doesn't shut off after about 10 seconds, unplug it if it's plugged in and remove the battery, then put the battery back in and plug it in if it was plugged in before, then turn it on. That's the only way you'll be able to find out if something bad happened.
