Ideal Clamps

It is easy to make your own s-clamp bangle bracelet. See how right here
Making your own accessories is easy! All you need are five trendy beads, six beads with holes large enough for your 15g wire, round nose and chain pliers, 18g wire, wire cutters and lastly, eighteen gauge wire. See? With just that, you're ready to make your own bangle.
So here it goes. Cut off a piece of wire (15g). Remember to not straighten it for the way that it is bent is ideal for the shape of the bracelet. Then, with your round nose pliers, grip the end with the middle part of the wire to make a loop opposite the direction of the wire's curve. And now we have the loop for the head pin.
From the other side of the wire, slide the beads. You can play with the combination and order of it as you like just keep in mind that the beads when put together should be as long as circumference of your wrist. Also note that if you work with lampwork beads then you should add one and a half inches to your length. Well, you if it's too much of a hassle, just try to estimate the length of it by trying to put it on. You can fairly gage the length needed.
Now, when everything is all set and to your liking, you can form the other loop. With your round nose pliers, grip the wire after the last bead. Then bend it to a perfect loop. After that, cut out the excess wire. However be very careful with your eyes while using the cutter. Then even out the loop.
Making accessories is easy right? So next bend the bangle into a round shape that fits your wrist and leave a margin between both ends because that is where you are going to attach the clasp.
There are many types of clasps but then the s-clasp would be more appropriate for bangle accessories. This is how you make your s-clasp. You get the 18g wire and make a loop using your round nose pliers. It's basically the same concept as how you made the bracelet. But let's not dwell on it much. Moving on, after you have formed the loop; using your pliers, grip the wire and make another loop. This time, it is facing upwards and to the right. Then wrap it around the pliers' bottom prong and let go. Then grip the loop facing upwards and to the right downwards. Note that that loop should be a big loop. Next you wrap the wire around the upper prong of the round nose pliers and connect it to the bottom prong. Then you make a loop and cut the excess wire. Remember to be careful with your eyes.
Lastly you attach the clasp to the hooks on the bangle and voila! You now have your bangle.

can i request that my husband cut the cord before the DR does?
i have been watching a lot of birth videos and they have the DR cut the cord first then they clamp it and have the dads do it, i want him to cut the cord first not the DR, its a big deal to me and a very significant piece to my ideal labor. if i request that he be the one to cut the cord first will they let him?
it doesn't really seem fair if they wouldn't.
yep you're right, it wouldnt be fair, after all you are paying a huge lump of a sum of money, and its your baby! just ask them and they'll allow him to- i mean him allowing to cut it may be a simple task, but its verry important cut fora couple like you, im sure the doc will understand
