Puma Clever Little Bag

Shoe boxes generate millions of tons of waste each year. Thinking about it Puma decided to seek alternatives to change their boxes.

In partnership with industrial designer Yves Behar, founder of Fuseproject, the brand announced the launch of its Puma's Clever Little Bag, replacing the traditional shoe boxes, and giving a start to a new phase of its sustainability program, which can be seen by Puma Vision.

The new packaging uses 65% less cardboard than a conventional box. The material, fully recyclable requires less labor and generate less waste, and take up less space and weigh less, even aiding in its transport and hence pollution.

With the creation of this new ‘bag', Puma shoes should eliminate boxes from 2011. The deployment of the new packaging will result in a 60% decrease in water consumption, diesel and energy during production. According to the company, this should result in an annual reduction of 8,500 tons of paper, 20 million Mega Joules of electricity and 1 million liters of water and diesel in the process of manufacture and distribution of products.

This is a tru step forward to ecological trends of our days. It's a new way of being in the business. A greener way, a much more ecological environmental profitable way. This is the future, the future where we all be much more sensitive to environmental issues.

These new trends will force brands and industries in their aim to keep their consumers loyalty, to go further to meet that same costumers needs, aims, and environmental conscience.

Great work by Puma.

Which wallet should i get? AX or Diesel?

Which one should i get?Which is one better in terms quality and looks?

Diesel: http://www.ebags.com/product/diesel-bags/jem-neela-small-wallet/148802

AX: http://www.amazon.com/Armani-Exchange-Textured-Plate-Wallet/dp/B002QDETFQ

I'd get the Armani. The logo plate is a lot flatter than the Diesel one. The bigger Diesel logo plate could get hung up on your back pocket and make taking the wallet out of your pocket or putting it back in a constant annoyance.

Otherwise, they are both leather and the features are similar so yeh, I'd get the Armani for ease of use. It looks better, too and got rave reviews from the people who bought it. Good luck!! : P
