Like everybody else here, I too agree that this is often a wonderful AIO device. I bought the 6120 solely to print photos therefore i will be able to solely review it as such. I have already got a Canon scanner and a Brother laser printer for monochrome prints. i'm an amateur photographer and was printing solely on Epson printers for as long as I printed something. i used to be most recently printing with a pigment ink based mostly Epson R1800 that was nice...if it did not clog constantly! The 6120 is way faster and also the photos on shiny photo paper did not supper from the "bronzing" impact that the Epsons were known for where a part of the print while not ink (the whites) were boring and had a bronze tinge to it if viewed from an angle. the sole issue I even have with the printer is that the 9ml ink cartridges are expensive. The Epsons used a 13ml cartridge. however i used to be conjointly employing a third of the ink to wash the R1800's heads therefore it all balances out. How much would these ink cartridges for a printer cost?
I need a new Canon CL-41 Color ink cartridge and a Canon PG-40 Black ink cartridge for my Canon printer. How much would both of these cost? Where could I get them at the cheapest? (i.e., Wal-Mart, Staples, etc.)
A color ink cartridge usually cost 30-40 dollars. A black ink cartridge usually cost 20-25 dollars. You can buy ink refill kits to refill both of the ink cartrides. It allows you to refill your ink cartridges 5-10 times. their not really that expensive ethier. You can probably get one for your printer for 45-75 dollars. Its cheaper then always replacing your cartridges all the time. If you do go this route, just know that it may avoid any type of warrenty or replacement plan that you have on your printer. You can also get a laser printer. My friend at works has one and once he puts the ink toner in it, it lasts for two years. The ink toner is a little more expensive, but in the long run, it will save you lots of money. Im actually consider getting a laser printer that prints out black and white, becouse I just use black mostly anyways, and color very little. Yeah its 100 a ink toner, but that will be able to print 2,400 pages of text. A regular ink jet printer only prints 250 pages of text before the ink runs out. You do the math. Its alot cheaper then replaceing your ink every 2-3 months. Yeah its a little more expesive then an ink cartrige, but over the years you would save alot of money.
