Tenant Using Garage For Auto Repairs?
When by a duplex unit of mine to inspect the new garage door and I found that tenant is using the garage for auto repairs it looks like. There is auto paint on the cement & empty auto paint cans on the floor and also paint on the cement floors in the garage. Also a sander and some sand paper laying on the floor. I just paid over $100 to have the garage painted and holes filled just a couple weeks ago and now there are marks on the walls from these big tires leaning on them & had a new garage door put on to make it look much nicer which was $600. What is it I need to do in this situation?
Check with Zoning and see if they have an ordinance concerning a garage in a residential area. IF they do then go to the tenant and tell them you can not allow the activities because it is against code. Get the code and hand or mail it to them.
